Conch Shell and Buri Seed Necklace
Conch Shell and Buri Seed Necklace
From the Oceania Collection. This collection captures the tropical underwater world and features conch shell beads that I found on my travels to Mercer Island, in Washington state. Conch shell beads are fossilized “Chank” shells (commonly known as conch). These beautiful conch shell beads are capped with Tibetan silver caps that were handcrafted in Nepal. There are also ivory coloured Buri beads, which come from the root of trees found in the Philippines. Dove grey Cabalonga seed beads, which come from the rainforests of Peru and Ecuador, sterling silver Bali beads, and a spectacular hammered sterling silver handmade Bali toggle comprise this original, wearable art conversation piece!
